I have had a passion for making and working with media since I was in middle school. I started out with my GoPro Hero 3+ Silver in a 720p workflow to now working in 4k and VR workflows. My experience exceeds just cinematography, I’m experienced both out in the field and in the studio as a broadcast engineer and producer with 240+ Livestream broadcast under my belt. As a high school student, I was executive producer of the broadcast team from freshman to senior year. Also while I was in high school, I worked for my school district as an IT technician gaining valuable knowledge on how to handle and troubleshoot problems. Sophomore year I was hired on as a software engineer at GVTV, LLC to build the VMS, video management system, for the OkPreps network used by over 30 schools and six private companies to host, Livestream and monetize their videos. I currently attend the University of Oklahoma for management of information systems. Since I’ve started at OU, I have produced and directed one tv show, managed the university TV station and started my own business, Core Broadcast Technology Group.
My passion lies with working with video content, both technically and artistically.
At my high school I pioneered new innovative technology to integrate into our broadcasts and post productions like a replay system for live broadcast, remote robotic camera system over IP for basketball goals, VR 360 & Stereoscopic video and drone cinematography. My drive to integrate new, innovative technology into the broadcasting program at my high school gave our broadcast a high production value with little-starting capital. At the college level, I created a radio automation and distribution system from scratch using two old servers and NDI for a project cost of $0.
